We’re building BIM VR as a collaboration tool for architects, engineers and contractors. I’d like to properly show two major features we’ve been working on: Mixed Reality alignment and 3D spatial drawing.
In this demo, Alex Markin, Creative XR Director, is aligning a BIM model with the actual construction site, switching layers to inspect hidden systems, and then using volumetric drawing to mark missing elements directly in space, so designers can immediately see what needs to be updated.
These aren’t “nice-to-have” features. On a real project, they mean fewer misunderstandings, fewer iterations, and faster decisions.
Here’s how it works.
