Intro
LUKAPS approached us with a request to develop a demo booth* that would showcase the benefits of XR technology for corporate training. The goal was to create an immersive learning experience where employees could practice technical skills in a simulated environment.

The demo booth for LUKAPS needed to offer a highly immersive XR experience where trainees could learn at their own pace, without the need for physical training rooms or real equipment. This meant creating a realistic training environment with interactive elements and a virtual instructor.

The experience needed to feel as natural and human-like as possible. We dedicated significant effort to ensuring that the virtual instructor, Viktor, looked and acted like a real person, with expressive gestures and facial animations
Solution
3D Development
We started the development process by analyzing a video of the client's production facility and meticulously recreating it in XR, ensuring all the necessary details were captured for full immersion. The 3D artists made the virtual environment as realistic as possible, ensuring that trainees felt fully engaged.

XR Experience Design
The XR training experience was designed to be intuitive, with the user interface easily navigable for all levels of experience. The key features of the training included:
Anthropomorphic instructor: Viktor might be the most patient and considerate teacher you’ve ever dealt with! In XR, trainees can practice any skill at their own pace, with guidance from Viktor. We devote a lot of time to mastering his gestures and facial expressions. Meet him:
Skill Practice:Trainees could repeatedly practice actions, just like in real-life training, with the added benefit of not requiring a physical teacher or group:
At the end of each training session, users are tested on their newly acquired knowledge. The quiz is interactive, with the voiceover offering helpful feedback and suggestions for improvement:
The demo booth now allows LUKAPS to address corporations with a hands-on sales tool that highlights the benefits of XR-fueled training. Among the key advantages: No need for transportation, accommodation, or physical training rooms. Learning doesn’t disrupt the work environment; trainees practice in XR without interfering with daily operations.
