Case Study: Website development for UMMC-NFMP
UMMC-NFMP is a division of UMMC-holding, which has united under its command all the leading Non-Ferrous-Metals Processing plants. Along with the production of these enterprises, the company realises the rolled stock of “Copper Pipes Plant” (Serbia, Majdanpek), and a group of enterprises Gindre (France, Lyon).
But there was a problem. The websites of all the subdivisions of UMMC-holding have long been based on a single template, which is already 17 years old. Our challenge was to create a modern website for the company with sections for each plant included, which would attract new clients, improve business processes and increase the number of orders.
We suggested full website update, although we had to divide the work into two parts: user interface and automation of internal processes. We drew prototypes, wrote extensive and detailed terms of reference, have thoroughly thought out the structure and navigation, created landing pages for all products as well as pages for vacancies and tenders and added an English version of the website, as the UMMC-NFMP company is oriented to the broad international market.
As the result, the company received first orders right on the day of the new website’s launch! The website has proved to be an attractive modern resource, which solves image problems for UMMC-NFMP, displays the scope of the company’s activity, gives an opportunity to demonstrate customers its European approach.
