Designing for mindfulness may be harder than it seems: the space must feel spiritual, yet neutral; immersive, yet grounding.
That’s why for our client, a mindfulness retreat center, we developed Cosmic Byzantium. It’s a unique visual language for our VR meditation app. The style combines cosmic depth with Byzantine softness and color transitions reminiscent of dawn light to evoke the inner calm that meditation brings.
