Taking part in the "Images of the Future" hackathon as a jury
On April 10-11, the Urban Initiatives Foundation is holding the "Images of the Future" hackathon. And our art director Maxim Smirnov is one of the jury members.
The task of the hackathon is to create concepts of digital solutions for real projects of city activists to develop Yekaterinburg and improve life in the city.
Among the participants of the hackathon are the guys from the School of Urban Pioneers program and other residents of the city – you don't need to know how to code for this. They will apply the skills of collecting and analysing data, come up with ways to involve city residents in the activities of activists and develop pilot versions of digital solutions (a landing page, service, game, application, or something else).
At the introductory meeting on April 2, Maxim Smirnov will give a lecture with a brief overview of modern digital technologies and examples of their use. On April 10 and 11, he will help the teams develop their solutions, and at the final of the hackathon, he will evaluate the participants' works with other experts.
You can find the schedule and detailed information about the hackathon on the website.
