JetStyle at the PIK IT 2021

Last Friday, March 12, we attended an annual Open Day of the IT industry in Yekaterinburg – PIK IT, which takes place at the Ural Federal University.

The day was eventful, and we took part in three activities: a design battle, discussions about life online and reviewing the resumes of the participants.

At 11:00, JetStyle designers, along with their colleagues from SKB Kontur, took part in a real design battle. Two pairs of participants, two tasks and two rounds of 15 minutes.

At 12:00, our CEO Alexey Kulakov participated in the discussion "Life Online: pain, cyber apocalypse or a new era of opportunities?"

We talked about:

—  whether it is possible to completely replace the usual way of life with online,

—  are companies and universities ready for this,

—  and what are the advantages and disadvantages of the digital future?

And at 15:00, our HR Director Anna Tatyankina reviewed the resumes of the PIK IT participants online. They all received detailed feedback and recommendations on how to improve their CVs.

In general, there was a lot of interesting and useful things on the day. And we are already looking forward to the next PIK IT)
