The demand for Augmented Reality (AR) experiences has skyrocketed over the past few years. With more businesses seeking innovative ways to engage clients and offer memorable gifts, we’re exploring how AR can enhance our corporate gift-giving strategy.

What is AR?

Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that blends the digital and physical worlds by overlaying digital elements (like 3D objects) onto the real world through a device’s screen. It’s a fast-growing market, expected to outpace the Virtual Reality (VR) market in terms of revenue (Treekit).

Solution

At JetStyle, we believe in providing thoughtful and impactful gifts that resonate with our clients and partners. For 2023, we decided to go beyond the ordinary by incorporating AR into our corporate gifts.

We gifted phone and tablet holders, but with a twist: each holder included a unique QR code. Scanning the code with a smartphone took users to a landing page featuring personalized New Year’s greetings and a unique AR scene.

In the AR experience, a cyberpunk-style flying car delivered digital presents, promising future surprises and more entertainment in the upcoming months.

AR is a renewable experience. Throughout the year, we plan to update the AR scenes to celebrate various holidays and seasons, ensuring the gift remains fresh and engaging.

How We Built the AR Experience

The production process includes multiple stages:

Scene Development:

Our designers meticulously plan the AR layout, ensuring that the digital elements enhance rather than distract from the real-world surroundings.

3D Modeling:

Detailed, creative 3D models are crafted to ensure the digital objects look realistic and visually appealing in any setting.

Optimization:

We make sure the AR animations are fluid and smooth across various modern devices, ensuring all users have a seamless experience.

Technical Fine-Tuning:

Our developers troubleshoot and perfect the final AR experience, ensuring everything runs without a glitch.
