On November 30, our CEO Alexey Kulakov spoke at the DUMP conference.
For those who don’t know, DUMP is one of the largest developer conferences, with more than 300 participants (frontend and backend developers, project managers, team and tech leads, system analysts, interface designers, and testers) and 20 speakers in 4 sections (Backend, Frontend, Design, and Management).
Alexey Kulakov, who was the program director of the Design section, made a presentation on the designer’s survival as a species.
He talked about what awaits us:
- machines will start taking away the work of designers, but there will be more and more work,
- discussed what will happen to the demand for designer competencies with the development of technology in the next 5 years,
- and what, ultimately, the designer profession can evolve into.
Overall, it was a great event, full of insights and learning, interesting discussions and networking. And we are already looking forward to the spring and the next DUMP conference in Yekaterinburg.
