We’d like to share our approach to briefing on motion design projects.
We’re not going to ask you to fill in a 5-page briefing form before we even meet. For the discovery call, we will ask you to provide us with the general info. We need to know your goals and limitations first. Then it’s collective art: the more we get to know each other, the more relevant video you get to your business goals.
Here are the questions we ask when we start the project:
- What are the goals of the future motion product?
- Can you define what ‘good result’ means to you?
- What are your budgeting expectations?
- Is this video a part of a bigger campaign or is it an isolated project?
We also recommend our clients to ‘dream big’ and be transparent about what they want from the motion design product. We’ll use your requests to outline a possible roadmap and estimate the budget.
