Inclusive Design: Medium

Read on Medium

To continue the topic of accessibility in design, here’s a text revealing what makes Pocket Coach design an inclusive one. It’s written together with Ruzanna Babayan, the project's UX designer. Ruzanna was also in charge of preliminary work during which she collected the best practices and related research.

For kids with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or Down Syndrome, a wrong color choice or a complicated text metaphor can be a source of frustration. We wanted to make the website relevant to the needs of people with mental health issues. We implemented a lot of features that might be invisible to the ‘neurotypical’ eye. We’d like to share this knowledge with you; click the link above.
