RBT.ru is a Russian regional chain of electronics and home appliances stores. RBT.ru online store has branch offices in 40 cities around Russia.
Redesigning the existing RBT.ru home appliances online store, making it more convenient and user-friendly, creating a new modern design with adapted versions for tablets and smartphones.
The previous RBT.ru online store version design was outdated; there was need for new modern interface solutions. The customer approached us with the request to redesign the site.
The customer provided us with a list of key sample pages that needed reengineering, specified the peculiarities of how this online store works; we prepared prototypes of a website desktop version and thought through the interface for mobile devices.
We designed the landing page for special offers connected with opening new stores in different towns.
Before a new store opening the customer starts an advertising campaign on the radio, TV and the Internet with a reference to this page.
Landing attracts new buyers, step-by-step introduces special offer conditions to the buyer and leads them to a necessary action: visit to a new store.
The landing page content can be changed for new stores opening in different towns.

Contains information about the product, current special offers and gifts received at purchase, as well as a variety of accessories, which can be viewed as a full list or filtered by categories.
Allows checking the nearest possible delivery date and availability in pick-up points without going to Shipment & Delivery section: a new window with stores on it opens on the product card. The buyer can choose the pick-up point when they add a product to the cart and will not have to choose a delivery method again at check out, the system will suggest it automatically.
After the buyer adds the product to the cart the website suggests associated goods in a pop-up window.
Out of Stock Goods
If the product is out of stock it still remains in the catalogue, which allows the card page to still be indexed by search engines and bring customers to the website. In such a case the photo in description is shown smaller, a block with similar products in stock occupies the bigger portion of the page.
Special Offers Section
Every page of a current special offer contains its description and a list of participating goods.
At checkout the website suggests adding some services and the store special warranty to the order: RBT.ru installs, adjusts and repairs the customers’ home appliances, even if they were purchased in another store. A website visitor can find information on additional services at any moment in Help section.
Order Delivery Method
A buyer chooses one of three goods delivery methods: delivery to the specified address, self-pickup and a combined method. For example, a fridge can be delivered to the flat door, and a microwave oven or a hair dryer can be sent to the nearest store.
We handed ready website templates to the customer for HTML-coding and programming. Advertising campaigns with the new landing prove to be highly effective. After the new website version is kicked off the home appliances purchasing process will become easier and nicer, even if one uses a tablet or a smartphone.
